Terms of Use

By using Satoshinhos you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the service. We recommend reading the whole document — it is short and written to be clear.

1. Who can use the service

To use Satoshinhos you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding agreements. The platform is not intended for minors. If we find out an account belongs to a minor, it will be terminated.

2. What the platform does

Satoshinhos is a platform that connects creators with their audience through private 1:1 video calls. Creators publish time slots and set a price in sats (satoshis — the smallest unit of Bitcoin). Anyone can buy a ticket and pay over the Lightning Network. The sats go directly from the buyer to the creator — Satoshinhos never holds customer balances and does not act as a financial intermediary. The platform sustains itself through a subscription paid by creators, not through a commission on each sale.

3. Access and account

Access is handled exclusively through your Google account. We do not create or store passwords — authentication is delegated to the login provider. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for every action taken from it. We use your email address as the official channel to reach you; keep it up to date.

4. Buying tickets

When you buy a ticket, the payment is processed in sats over the Lightning Network. Tickets are personal and non-transferable. Every price is stored in sats (whole integers). Any fiat amount shown alongside a price (USD, EUR, BRL) is an approximation derived from a cached Bitcoin price and is always prefixed with "≈" — never treat those amounts as exact. The sats amount you confirm at checkout is what the creator receives.

5. Subscription, no per-sale commission

Satoshinhos runs on a subscription model, not a commission model. Creators who want to keep publishing tickets buy a VIP Pass (15, 30, or 60 days) — there is no auto-renewal. We do not take a cut of any sale: the creator receives 100% of what the buyer paid, minus a small spread (less than 1%) that covers Lightning network costs. VIP Pass prices may be adjusted with prior notice posted on the platform.

6. Referrals

Our referral program grants a percentage discount on the referring user’s next VIP Pass purchase when the person they invited completes their first qualifying action on the platform. That one-time discount is the only benefit: no cash payout, no account credit, and no reward per ticket sold. The discount is applied automatically at VIP Pass checkout, can be used only once, and does not stack with other referrals.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Refunds are tiered by how much notice you give before the scheduled call: more than 12 hours in advance, 100%; between 6 and 12 hours, 90%; between 2 and 6 hours, 50%; less than 2 hours, no refund available. If the creator does not show up, the buyer may request a full refund (100%) within 24 hours of the scheduled time. If the call did take place, refunds are not available. The percentage is locked at the moment you submit the request — even if the creator takes time to pay it out, you still receive the amount calculated at that moment. Whenever possible the refund flows directly from the creator to your Lightning wallet; when your wallet is not compatible with the automatic flow, the platform routes the operation and an administrator forwards the sats manually — the final amount is the same.

8. Creator obligations

When publishing tickets, creators agree to: show up on time for scheduled calls; keep their profile and Lightning wallet information up to date; not use the platform for illegal, discriminatory, fraudulent content or anything that infringes third-party rights; and respect the rules of conduct listed below. Failure to meet these obligations may lead to suspension or termination of the account.

9. Payment disputes

If you disagree with a payment or a refund, open a ticket through the support center with every detail of the transaction. Our team reviews and replies within 5 business days. In proven cases of fraud or suspicious activity, Satoshinhos reserves the right to immediately suspend the accounts involved.

10. Rules of conduct

It is forbidden to use the platform for any illegal or fraudulent activity, harassment, spam, hate speech, non-consensual nudity, or any content that infringes third-party rights. Violations may lead to the immediate removal of the account, with no prior notice and no refund of amounts related to the violation.

11. Liability

Satoshinhos is the tool that connects creators and buyers and that generates the Lightning invoices that move sats between them. We do not take part in the content of the calls nor in the agreement between the parties. Connection issues, audio/video quality, delays, and no-shows are the responsibility of the users involved. The platform is not liable for temporary outages, failures of third-party Lightning services, or indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our maximum liability in any situation is limited to the amount of sats you actually paid on the platform during the last 12 months.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Relevant changes are announced by email or inside the platform with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
